Tatapp quick start
So you don’t open the app and get lost, here’s the flow.
- Join the lobby: Enter the central hub and see who is nearby right now.
- Create the meet: Use the (+) button to pin your plan (Coffee, Walk, or Food) to the top of the list.
- Meet face-to-face: Once your match is confirmed, meet up in the real world.
- Feedback and repeat: Leave optional feedback for the event and repeat. Add VIBE in that feedback if you want Hall of Fame consideration: see Hall of Fame & lifetime. For the Berlin Pioneer Quest, at most one meet per calendar day counts toward your 3 meets: see Quest law.
Quest law (strict but simple)
To keep the Berlin Pioneer Quest high-quality:
- Real people only: In person in Berlin. A meet can be 1-on-1 or with 3 or more people.
- No ghosting: We value time. If you can’t make a meet, cancel it in-app so people aren’t left waiting.
- One meet per day: For the Berlin Pioneer Quest, at most one meet per calendar day counts toward your 3. Optional feedback may be used as a tie-breaker when rankings are close.
- Manual verification: In-app “meet completed” confirmation isn’t available yet. Once you hit 3 qualifying meets, send “QUEST COMPLETE” in the app feedback. I’ll personally verify your journey and apply your rewards.
Hall of Fame & lifetime Premium
Whether it’s a funny encounter, a deep 1-on-1 talk, or just a perfectly captured Berlin morning: the more awesome the story, the better your chances. Help us prove that face-to-face still matters.
Short version: add VIBE in your event feedback if you want to be in the running. The Testimonial & publication terms cover the rest if we pick you: selfie, consent, and Lifetime Premium.
- Complete 3 qualifying meets (see Quest law above).
- To be in the running, add the word VIBE in your feedback for the event (same flow as the rest of the quest).
- If we select you, we’ll contact you. You’ll share a clear selfie of you (required); ideally in the moment of the meet, so it feels like the real experience, plus written consent; then we can publish and award Lifetime Premium (Permanent Founding Architect).

Tatapp is named from tatap muka: face-to-face (in person, not a screen). That’s the job: get you out of the loop of endless threads and into the world, starting in Berlin.
We also mean it literally: close the app. Set the meet, then put the phone away and show up. Tatap muka beats a 67-message group chat. Fewer threads, more human moments.
