Berlin Pioneer Quest – Testimonial and publication terms
1. What this covers
These terms govern: your written testimony about the Berlin Pioneer Quest, a required selfie (a clear image of you with your face visible; at the meet, in the moment, is ideal) for any Hall of Fame publication, use of VIBE in event feedback to seek consideration, consent to publish on tatapp.astekita.com (and related marketing we expressly agree in writing), and Lifetime Premium (on the quest page, “Permanent Founding Architect” status) when offered in connection with that publication, including what happens if you later request a takedown.
2. How the process works
- Being considered. To put yourself forward for the Hall of Fame, type the word VIBE in your feedback for the event (the same in-app event feedback flow used in the quest). That does not guarantee selection; it is only how you opt in to be on our radar for this programme.
- Your face, for publication. Anything we publish in this programme requires a clear selfie – that is, a photograph where your face is clearly visible (a shot from the meet, in the moment, is ideal). A selfie is not optional for any published entry. (Other people should not be identifiable in the image unless you have their permission.)
- Selection. We choose which participants to take forward. There is no prize solely for VIBE or for submitting a story; selection is not guaranteed.
- Contact. If we wish to feature you, we will contact you on the path we have for you (for example, in-app or email).
- Before go-live: you must give clear written consent to the exact testimony text, the face photo, and how your name or display name appears. We only offer Lifetime Premium under this programme when we have that consent and the agreed materials, and we confirm the benefit in writing when it applies.
3. Your promises about content
Your testimony should reflect your honest experience. The selfie must be of you and you must be entitled to let us use it for the agreed publication.
4. Licence to publish
When you give consent as described in section 2, you grant ASTEKITA a non-exclusive licence to host, display, reproduce, and share the agreed text and image(s) on our website and in marketing materials we list in that consent (for example, social posts promoting the Hall of Fame). You keep ownership of your content; you are only licensing the uses we agree.
5. Withdrawing consent and takedowns
- Before go-live: You may withdraw at any time before we publish. No publication licence applies until we have your final consent and we publish within the agreed scope.
- After publication: You may request removal of your published testimony or image from the pages we control by writing to support@astekita.com with subject line “Pioneer Quest takedown”. We will process genuine requests within a reasonable time (we aim for within 30 days of verifying your request).
- Effect on Lifetime Premium (after you were published and received the lifetime benefit): If you request removal after go-live, Lifetime Premium granted under this Hall of Fame programme ends (we will adjust your account to match in line with the confirmation we sent you). As a goodwill step, you will still receive extended Premium for a number of days equal to 2 × n, where n is the number of full days (by our server records) that your content was live and published on our site before we process the takedown. Example: if n = 10, extended Premium = 20 days. This is not a second lifetime – it is a fixed extension so you are not left empty-handed after a long run on the site. Other purchases or subscriptions outside this programme are unaffected.
6. No employment; no payment for testimonial rights beyond what we offer
Participation in this programme does not create an employment relationship. Any Lifetime Premium is a goodwill / promotional benefit as described on the quest page and in our messages to you, not salary or fees for the licence (unless we agree otherwise in writing).
